By 2010 yearly sales of mobile phones will reach 1.1 bln

Shipments of mobile phones will grow for the next 5 years, to 1.1 bln units in 2010. This rise, together with the need to support cameras, MP3 music players and Web browsers, will boost demand for memory chips, according to Gartner.
