Calendar Check: San Francisco Web Innovators
I help organize and host a monthly get together/mixer for the Web 2.0 community each month called SFWIN. It was started because we felt that while there was no shortage of events in the Valley, there were few events in the city. Over a year later, and we're still going strong.
If you work directly in the Web 2.0 space, you are a VC, or even work in a marketing/IT department in a non-tech centric company...this is a great mixer to meet people, potential partners, or see new technologies.
No long speeches, only about 10 minutes of demos...and plenty of wine, beer, and food. Only $10 if you buy a ticket in advance and $20 at the door, and we don't profit from the event.
