Canon boasts cheapest A3 colour printer yet
Canon's latest £350 + VAT colour PC and Macintosh-compatible A3 printer is the cheapest available in its class, according to distributor Mygate.
The BJC-4550 colour bubble jet printer produces a photo-realistic printout on high-resolution A4 paper and proofing quality on A3, said Mygate, but A3 hi-res paper will be available in January. "If you're talking about A3 colour printing it's the cheapest, with the nearest Epson equivalent at between £800 and £900," said Maneesh Patel, Mygate's executive director.
The device comes with a photo cartridge and 60 sheets of hi-res paper and is available now.
