Celio announces REDFLY driver for BlackBerry coming soon

I am a fan of the Celio REDFLY Mobile Companion and I do use it with my Windows Mobile devices while I wait for continued driver support for other platforms. Today, Celio Corp announced their drivers for BlackBerry devices would be coming mid-Q4 2009 so this opens up a whole new world for enterprise customers. I think Celio did the right thing in targeting the BlackBerry platform after Windows Mobile because these type of people are a perfect fit for the REDFLY due to the ease of sending a REDFLY Mobile Companion out in the field with a smartphone.

The BlackBerry driver will work with the Bold, Curve 8900, and Tour devices at launch with more devices being added as they are released by RIM. The REDFLY models C8N and C7 will work with the BlackBerry smartphones. The driver and Mobile Companion solution will be demoed at ShowStoppers tonight in New York.
