Global cellular phone revenues are set to reach $570 bln in 2005, according to Strategy Analytics. Worldwide cellular user base will increase from 1.7 bln people at the end of 2005 to 2.5 bln people by the end of 2010, a 38% penetration rate. Average revenues are set to fell 7% to $30 per user per month in 2005.
