The HP Entria range includes three new models; the HP G (220), the HP L (500) and the HP X. Based on Linux and running a local browser, each client will offer seamless access to applications on HP Unix, NT or legacy system servers, HP says. The displays also promise to be pleasing to the eye, with graphics resolution of up to 1600x1200x16-bit.

HP promised forward compatibility with the Chai JVM would provide users with greater security for making the most of Internet revenue opportunities.

The HP Entria G 220 will ship next month, priced $599 (£365), with the other two models expected later in the year.
