Android apps are reportedly coming to Google's Chrome OS and Chromebooks in a move that will make the devices more friendly to businesses as well as useful.

9to5Google spied a session description that noted:

Today we announced that we're adding the best mobile app experiences in the world, Android apps and the Google Play store, to the best browser in the world, Chrome! Come to this session and test your Android apps for Chrome OS.

When I went to the session descriptions I couldn't find it. Google may have quickly removed it.

In either case, the combination of Android and Chrome bring the two operating systems closer together without a complete merger.
