Whether we are talking aboutlove or business affairs, there's something to be saidfor going back to the familiar.

Such as today's announcement from Cisco that Merrill Lynchis going back to themfor a VoIP system.

After all, this is the brokerage that in 2003, pulled out some Cisco IP gear from two of its main offices and installed a hybrid IP/traditional phone solution from Cisco competitor Avaya.

The orderinvolves some 14,000 financial advisors in 600Merrill Lynch branch offices. Installation should begin in the next four or five months. The purchase price was not disclosed.

SoMerrill took Cisco back. We are going to be seeing more of that in other realms. Heck,it is almost Valentine's Day, you know?

What other former business partners would you like to see reunite? Let's post a TalkBack.
