According to star struck witnesses, Francis Ford Coppola was checking out a range of fingerprint scanning mice and pads Tuesday.

Apparently Coppola is interested in using the Compulink Research U-Link Biolink mouse in his next movie. The mouse scans a user's thumb print as it rests on the side of the mouse and uses strong encryption to protect that data from hackers.

The Compulink team were understandably excited and are now preparing themselves for another Hollywood inspection. On Tuesday, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are due to check out the mouse too.
