Compaq sets up Euro comms products group
Compaq Europe has set up a business unit devoted to making the firm a serious player in networking and communications peripherals.
Begun Monday, the Communications Products group will be headed by Patrick Lelorieux, who started up the workgroup networking products group at Hewlett-Packard. The Communications Products will focus on Compaq's Netelligent family of NICs, modems, hubs, routers and repeaters.
