Concur offers additional perk for business travelers

Summary:Customers who sign up for the Concur Small Business Edition will also receive a 12-month membership with Regus, giving them access to more than 1,500 business lounges in 100 countries.

Airport lounges and coffee shops — pretty much anywhere with a halfway decent seat, electrical plug, caffeine, and a wireless connection — have become havens for small-business owners and travelers hoping to stay productive or hold impromptu meetings on the road.

So Concur has cooked up a pretty compelling perk for companies that are using its Concur Small Business Edition to organize trips and itineraries in the form of a relationship with Regus, a workplace management company that runs more than 1,500 business lounges in more than 100 countries.

Under the deal, Concur Small Business Edition customers will receive a 12-month Regus Preferred Businessworld Membership, which will give them access to those locations — where they can host meetings with clients or colleagues. They will also get discounts toward Regus virtual office services in their own home city.

On the flip side, existing Regus customers will get a 45-day complimentary trial of Concur Small Business Edition.
