IT services vendor CSG has scored a new contract to roll-out an Oracle Identity and Access Management system to Edith Cowan University in Perth.

The new system is set to replace three existing university IT systems with the one Oracle identity platform.

Edith Cowan University's project executive Phillip Draber was raring to go on the implementation.

"We are excited to implement the new program, which will enable a single life-long identity to be maintained from an individual's initial contact with the university right throughout their life cycle as a student or staff member through to an alumni member," Draber said.

According to CSG, the new system will also create a link between staff and student records as well as IT user account systems and records.

The Oracle system is set to be deployed by June 2011.
