Delivery for iPhone online orders 2-4 weeks out; iTunes 7.3 won't save my library

The Apple Store came back online at 6:00 p.m. PDT, and my order was processed exactly eleven minutes later. Shipping is estimated for "2-4 weeks" from today, expedited shipping was an additional $10.00, plus California sales tax of $47.20. Hey, it's better than $1,500, or worse, and ordering online didn't impinge too badly on my mommy duties or involve camp chairs.

I'm glad about the 2-4 week estimate for one reason: when I installed iTunes 7.3 earlier today it refused to save my iTunes library any longer. The Apple Care support guy I worked with said he was seeing this problem with 7.3 reported all over their message boards today. Fortunately, I had 7.2 running on another machine and could restore it (it's no longer available as a download, now that 7.3 is out). That fixed everything. Hopefully they'll have an update for 7.3 before my iPhone shows up.

[Update:] Seems I'm not alone. (Thanks Digg.) On the bright side, it did give me the nudge to do some much needed library updating.
