While it hasn't been posted to Dell's US online store yet, the Dell Inspiron M301z laptop computer has been spotted on the Singapore edition, thanks to the eyes of Engadget.

Buyers have a decision to make when it comes to the CPU. Both are AMD Nile dual-core processors, but you could end up with either the 1.3 GHz Athlon II Neo K325 or the 1.5 GHz Turion II Neo K625. The battery life leaves room for want with only up to five hours of operation promised with that  6-cell 44WHr battery.

Here's what else has been published on the ultra-slim Dell Inspiron M301z:

  • 13.3-inch widescreen HD display (1,366 x 768 resolution)
  • ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics
  • AMD RS880M chipset
  • Up to 4GB 1,333MHz 2 DIMM DDR3 memory
  • 320GB hard drive
  • 802.11b/g Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth v2.1
  • 1.3-megapixel integrated webcam
  • 7-in-1 Card Reader (SD/SDHC/MMC/MMC+/xD/MS/MS Pro)
  • Connectivity: Two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA/USB 2.0 port, HDMI, RJ-45, audio (line-out, microphone-in)

All of that comes in a silvery casing with a brushed finish that is only 1-inch thin and weighs 3.89 pounds total. Available in Singapore now, it's priced for $999 SGD ($721 USD). No word on official US pricing or a release date yet.
