Digitizing the health care world

A New York Times story reports on the Bush administration's plan to bring the nation's health care system into the computer age. Only about 13 percent of the 6,000 U.S. hospitals have electronic patient record systems today. The government is organizing a consortium of private companies to plan, build and operate health information networks.
