U.S. placement and research firm BC Management released its 2005 Compensation Report for the Asia-Pacific region last week, revealing how much business continuity professionals in Asia get paid. Over 100 people responded to the anonymous, online survey conducted in January and February 2006. Download your copy, then go tell the boss you're underpaid.

Average full-time compensation in Malaysia is RM 132,000 (US$36,000), S$135,000 (US$85,000) in Singapore, and HK$1.2 million (US$155,000) in Hong Kong. I sure want to meet the person who's paid S$458,997 (US$288,000) for doing BCP in Singapore. Nice work when you can get it.
