Get the full picture on the Tasmanian leg of the National Broadband Network in this wide-ranging video interview with TNBN Company chairman and ex-Telstra executive Doug Campbell.
The interview was conducted recently by the ABC's Stateline program and made available on YouTube. In it, Campbell discusses the current state of the NBN roll-out in the state, as well as national issues such as how much of the NBN Company former monopolist Telstra should be allowed to own.
According to Campbell, the Tasmanian NBN Company has started initial survey work on the state roll-out, and has started organising construction schedules, crews and so on. Most of the employees involved work for government utility Aurora, which part-owns the joint venture TNBN Company. The full transcript of the interview is available online.
