Dropbox for Teams ready; starts at $795 for 1K GB of space

Summary:The real kicker here is the amount of storage space one gets when signing up for Dropbox for Teams.

A few weeks back, Dropbox announced a new business service for teams. Now that solution is here.

Aptly named Dropbox for Teams, the solution expands upon the cloud storage space (and there's definitely an abundance of that with subscriptions for this plan) with business-friendly amenities like administrative controls, centralized billing with bank grade encryption, dedicated phone support, and unlimited version history for all files.

Just with any Dropbox account, users can use this platform to share docs, slides, and large files with colleagues and clients. Dropbox can also be set up to work online or offline from any smartphone, computer, or tablet.

The real kicker here is the amount of storage space one gets when signing up for Teams. Dropbox for Teams starts at $795 annually for five users, with additional seats available for $125 each. That base plan includes 1,000GB of storage, and each additional seat comes with 200GB.

For those who do sign up for Dropbox for Teams, the cloud storage provider promises an easy setup that should be done within minutes.
