e-Carisma unleashes ASP apps

Managed application vendor e-Carisma has unveiled the first two business-ready applications from its Application Service Provider (ASP) software suite.

Desk management product eService and asset management tool eAsset are released today, with two other suite applications to follow in the first half of 2001. All the business-ready software applications will be fully browser-enabled and can be deployed through the web or via an intranet through an Oracle or SQL server. John McIntyre, managing director of e-Carisma, said in a statement: "Our suite of ASP-ready applications will assist companies, large and small to improve efficiency whilst enabling them to reap the reward of cost savings that an ASP model offers."
