EclipseCon Day 1: NetBeans pickets Eclipse conference

Summary:NetBeans supporters picketed the opening of the Eclipse conference this morning, handing out NetBeans demo disk and bottled water. Inside, registration lines greeted a record number of attendees.

Outside the convention hall this morning, there were a couple of "protesters" on a "picket line" handing out NetBeans CDs and water (I'm not sure what the connection was to the water).

Aside from a few little glitches (like those still-unreadable badges), EclipseCon2006 is off to a good start.
