EMEA chip consumption to grow at 3% a year

Chip consumption in Europe, the Middle East and Africa will grow at a compound annual rate of 3% from 2004 to 2010, driven by demand in emerging markets. The fastest-growing sector will be nonoptical sensors, Gartner reports.
