European mobile device shipments up 20% in Q2 2004

European demand for PDAs and smartphones continued unabated through Q2 2004, figures from IDC show. Mobile device shipments grew 20% to just under 1.78 mln units. That's 20% up YTY, but just 7.8% QTQ.
