European semiconductor sales reached $3.19 bln in May 2005

European semiconductor sales in May 2005 amounted to $3.19 bln, according to the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics, down 3.9% versus April 2005. This corresponds to a 0.1% increase compared to May 2004. On a year-to-date basis, semiconductor sales increased by 4.9% versus the same period in 2004.
