Eve.com shuts down, lays off 164

Online beauty retailer Eve.com has announced that it will shut down, effective immediately. Although Eve.com succeeded in luring shoppers, it had yet to turn a profit. The struggling company announced last week that it was reviewing all its strategic options, including hefty layoffs or outright liquidation.
