Evergreen's ECential™ wins US$50 million contract

SINGAPORE, May 24, 2000 - Evergreen Internet Inc., the US based parent company of Evergreen Internet Pte Ltd, has been selected and engaged by General Electric to provide a "large-scale" electronic commerce solution for their Power Systems Division.

The corporate budget for this project is estimated to be US$50 million over the next 18 months. Using Evergreen's ECential™ as the architectural centerpiece of their design, Evergreen will play a lead role in the development of the Power Systems Division's e-business solution.

This contract represents a significant milestone for Evergreen, its partners and users of ECential™. Meanwhile, more projects are being discussed with the rest of the divisions in GE.
