Ex-Tandem CEO quits Compaq
Former Tandem CEO Roel Pieper has quit his post as senior VP and general manager of worldwide sales at Compaq, less than six months after the firms agreed a plan to merge.
Pieper, a Dutchman, has been linked with senior posts at Philips, and has been rumoured as a possible replacement for Apple caretaker CEO Steve Jobs.
