Expedia CFO to resign after acquisition

Online travel site Expedia on Tuesday said that Gregory Stanger will step down as chief financial officer later this quarter. Stanger, who has served as CFO since 1999, will resign after a transition period ending at least 30 days after the InterActive acquisition of Expedia is closed, the company said.

Online travel site Expedia on Tuesday said that Gregory Stanger will step down as chief financial officer later this quarter. Stanger, who has served as CFO since 1999, will resign after a transition period ending at least 30 days after the InterActive acquisition of Expedia is closed, the company said.

Expedia said it is in the final stages of naming a successor to Stanger. It also said that Stanger and InterActive are exploring possible new roles for Stanger at InterActive, the Internet conglomerate formerly known as USA Interactive.
