This time the lucky firm is two-year old Intersé Corp., the California-based developer of site analysis software package Intersé market focus.
Intersé market focus 3 will be shoehorned into the newly named Microsoft BackOffice family of Web site solutions.
"Understanding usage patterns on your Web site is the best way to see what your customers are interested in so you can deliver the most targeted content," said Bill Gates, chairman and CEO of Microsoft in a prepared statement. "Intersé is the team that had this vision and is delivering on it."
