Are you a new Skype user, and new to the Skype Chat feature as well? Some new users are frustrated because you they seem to remember those handy but sometimes confusingly worded slash "/" commands?

Or, maybe you didn't even know about them.

Many of the commands are quite useful. Alertson, for instance, activates a bubble alert that will appear in your chat window when the person you are Skype-chatting with, types a specific term.

A new Skype Journal post reviews a list of these common slash commands. The post also notes that if you need access to these commands, you can just type :/help. A list of available commands pops up.

Do you use Skype Chat? If so, do you find these /commands useful? Would you like to see additional ones? TalkBack to us.
