Freescale Smart Mobile Device pundits announced with two ZDNet reps

Freescale just posted their Top 20 Smart Mobile Device pundits list that was created with the help of public feedback and they included me on the list. Check out all the others on the list and check out their sites as well.
Written by Matthew Miller, Contributing Writer

The folks at Freescale spent the last two weeks seeking input from Twitter and Facebook followers on who the public considered an industry pundit on Smart Mobile Devices. They were looking at those who write about smartphones, smartbook, ebook readers, and more and I am quite happy to say they included me in their new list of 20 informants on mobile technology. I am quite humbled by the honor and thank all of you readers who put forth my name and supported me without me every saying anything to you about voting or nominating me. I didn't want to influence the process and just wait to see how things shook out when I saw Freescale start asking for input.

Here is the alphabetical list of individuals they selected:

  • Darren Murph, Engadget
  • David Pogue, New York Times
  • Don Dingee, Embedded Computing
  • Eldar Murtazin, Mobile Review
  • Frank Garcia, Ultra Mobile PC Tips
  • Hugo Ortega, Uber Tablet
  • James Kendrick, jkOntheRun
  • Jenn Lee, Pocketables
  • JKKMobile
  • Kevin Tofel, jkONtheRun
  • Larry Dignan, ZDNet
  • Loring Wirbel, Smartbook Blog
  • Matt Miller, ZDNet's Mobile Gadgeteer
  • Priya Ganapati, Wired
  • Sascha Pallenberg, NetbookNews
  • Steve "Chippy" Paine
  • Tai-Pan, Shanzai
  • TnkGrl, TnkGrl Mobile
  • Walt Mossberg, All Things D
  • Warner Crocker, GottaBeMobile

Pretty impressive list of individuals if I do say so myself. I can think of several other good friends I would add to the list as well. Congratulations to Larry Dignan from ZDNet for also being included on the list. As you can see, the MobileTechRoundup podcast is extremely well represented with all three of us (James Kendrick and Kevin Tofel) making the list.
