FreshBooks adds Android mobile app

Summary:The cloud accounting service reaches small businesses in 120 countries.


Building on the succes of its Apple iOS mobile application, cloud accounting software company FreshBooks has released an Android edition.

Here are the tasks that small-business owners can complete using this mobile front-end to their cloud-hosted software:

  • Create and send invoices or estimates
  • Review the status of pending payments and outstanding accountings
  • Capture images of expense receipts, which can be uploaded to the appropriate account on the FreshBooks cloud service
  • Track billable hours
  • Review project budgets
  • Integrate FreshBooks client records with the native contact database on your Android mobile device
  • Work in an offline mode, uploading changes to the cloud the next time the device is online
