Unveiled back in September, the Fujifilm FinePix X100, full of retro loveliness, is now ready for pre-orders.

As promised, the FinePix X100 is being launched in early 2011, but we don't have an exact ship date yet. Nevertheless, we do have a price: $1,199 at Adorama. Ouch, but look how gorgeous that 12.3-megapixel APS-C shooter is.

The X100 might not be entirely worth that price tag (it only shoots 720p HD video), but it is intended to compete with low to mid-range DSLRs as well as interchangeable-lens cameras. However, the aforementioned sensor and hybrid viewfinder are already garnering plenty of positive buzz, so it should be a real treat to see one of these cameras in person this spring.
