Fujifilm intros FinePix JX280 14MP ultra-compact digital camera

Almost getting lost in the shuffle is the ultra-compact Fujifilm FinePix JX280, which with its spec list and price tag might be the best deal of the day.

Almost getting lost in the shuffle is the ultra-compact Fujifilm FinePix JX280, which with its spec list and price tag might be the best deal of the day.

Looking slim  and elegant with its shiny black exterior measuring less than an inch thick, the JX280 does everything a basic point-and-shoot should do these days. The 14-megapixel FinePix cam snaps 1,920 x 1080 resolution stills and records 720p HD video with sound.

On top of that, you've got 5x optical zoom on that 28mm-140mm lens, image stabilization, a 2.7-inch LCD, and a ton of presets to choose from, including auto scene recognition and the basic smile/blink detection. If you want something basic and quick for going out or everyday activities, this one seems reliable enough.

Best of all, it only costs $149.95 and ready to be toted around in your pocket this August.
