In other 3D tech news, Fujitsu has a new all-in-one desktop computer, the simply-named FH550/3AM, which the company has dubbed "world's first PC with full 3D experience." That "world's/industry's first" title is getting thrown around a lot lately.

Nevertheless, this Fujitsu computer appears to offer a lot more than any other 3D-enabled desktop these days. The 3D package is threefold: users can watch 3D Blu-ray movies, supports recording 3D video via two built-in cameras, and users can convert old 2D DVDs into 3D. Note that the last part is only for DVDs. PC games might or might not work, and it certainly won't for Blu-ray discs yet.

That's quite a bit of 3D fun, so let's take a look at what else the FH550/3AM includes:

  • 20-inch display (1,600 x 900 resolution)
  • Windows 7 Home Premium OS
  • Intel Core i3-350M 2.26GHz processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 1TB hard drive
  • 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
  • Connectivity: Five USB 2.0 ports, dual digital TV tuners, SD/Memory Stick card slot

This desktop also comes with a pair of 3D glasses in the bundle, so no need to pick up a pair of your own, unless you want something more fashionable. Unfortunately, this looks like it will only be available in Japan at first, and pricing is still a mystery as well.
