Fujitsu Siemens plans a radical company change which will cost $750 million
euro, the "Financial Times Germany" first reported. Instead of desktops the
company now wants devices for mobile use and services to be the focal point
of its interest. Now Fujitsu Siemens wants to cooperate with the
mobile phone group at Siemens.
At the same time the Geschäftsführer (CEO) of Fujitsu Siemens, Paul
Stodden, revised his targets: The plan, to become the number one producer
of PCs in Europe and world-wide number three, will not be reached, he said.
