We've launched a new site dedicated to business mobility. businessMOBILE Asia is targeted at senior IT decision makers, business management and influencers of business mobility technology.

Market research has shown that there is a lot of interest among working professionals and organizations in utilizing mobile technologies. However, technology adoption in the corporate environment has been slow due to the uncertainty of its potential applications and business benefits.

Our editorial objective is to simplify the decision-making process by providing you with news updates, case studies, buying advice and technology guides. Read our reviews of the latest notebooks, handhelds and phones targeted at business professionals. And check out the collection of free and trial software, including games, utilities and business applications. Select according to your platform, such as Palm, PocketPC, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and BlackBerry, and discover what else you can do with your mobile phone or PDA.

Mobile applications development for business is still in its infancy, and for those like OCBC that have jumped on the bandwagon, it's a story of trial and error, at least for now. But that's where businessMOBILE Asia comes in. We'll carry case studies of early adopters like OCBC and share their experiences with you.

What has been your experience? Read the lessons OCBC learnt in mobile banking, and tell us what you think.

Don't forget our resource centers on hot topics like mobile commerce and mobile security, and gain insights into the world of mobility through the eyes of our industry bloggers: Wireless Watch by Aloysius Choong; The M Files by Lee Lup Yuen; and Emerging India by Satyan Mishra. Stay tuned for more global and regional updates from other industry insiders, such as Mobilizing China by Ori Elraviv, a strong advocate of entrepreneurship in China and a keen observer of mobile developments in the Middle Kingdom.
