German medium business PC market leaders: HP, Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens

41% of midsize firms in Germany currently own an HP/Compaq desktop, followed by Dell (34%) and Fujitsu-Siemens (26%). Among the almost 17,000 MBs planning to purchase PCs in the next 12 months, Fujitsu-Siemens is the vendor of choice for both desktops and portables.

41% of midsize firms in Germany currently own an HP/Compaq desktop, followed by Dell (34%) and Fujitsu-Siemens (26%). Among the almost 17,000 MBs planning to purchase PCs in the next 12 months, Fujitsu-Siemens is the vendor of choice for both desktops and portables. HP/Compaq is the brand leader for printers and servers.

More than 60% of all Germany MBs believe that the Internet will help them strengthen their customer relationships, and one in three firms expresses a willingness to change its business processes and policies so as to be current with evolving Internet business practices. Of the 25,000 Germany MBs that currently outsource business services, approximately 13% do so to offshore companies. 40% of medium businesses report plans to outsource to offshore firms within the coming year.
