Global cross-border traffic grew over 14% in 2004 and is on pace to repeat in 2005. Because retail prices have begun to stabilize from a long plunge, the overall effect on revenue has been positive. According to TeleGeography, revenues reached $65.2 bln in 2004, up 7% from 2003.
