Global warming: predicting unpredictability

A black swan is being brought to the weather patterns for tornado prone areas of the U.S.
Written by Harry Fuller, Contributor

A black swan is being brought to the weather patterns for tornado prone areas of the U.S. Extremes. But in some cases bad news (drought) could be followed by good (weak tornado season). Fall drought should mean fewer tornadoes in the same area the following spring. And scientists are saying global warming will mean more extreme weather patterns, hence more droughts in normally moderate climates. There is a possible connection between sol moisture and storm initiation.
