GNOME Do RTM error

A short while ago, in a galaxy not so far away, I had some problems with the swift program launcher GNOME Do. I like GNOME Do a lot, an awful lot, and I didn’t realise how much until it crashed repeatedly.

After too long, I did a quick search on the web, and found the way to troubleshoot GNOME Do is to start it from the terminal with this:

gnome-do --debug

Finally I had an error message to work with, and this led me to uninstall the Remember The Milk (unfortunate, as I’m an almost equally big fan of RTM). All in all, 5 minutes work.

The moral of the story is that oft-times fixing is less aggravation than deferring. Now we are all happy bunnies.
