Godwin's Chinese national security podcast

Summary:On this week's Technolatte podcast, the Australian team takes a long look at big data, Chinese hackers, and unnamed national security agencies.

Well, it was just a matter of time before Godwin's Law applied to Technolatte, but thankfully, we weren't the ones to show how it relates to big data. We do, however, cross to the other side and wonder about "CHINA, CHINA, CHINA!" and whether the US government knows what they're doing in cyberspace other, than playing castle defence. And meanwhile on local soil, who is the unnamed national security agency that is using Section 313?

On this week's Technolatte podcast, the Australian team discusses:

  • The topic of big data and one company's argument that Nazi's used it in the Netherlands

  • An account from an extremely long titled Lieutenant Colonel on whether the US or China threw the first cyber-punch

  • The Greens' chase to find out which unnamed government agency is using legislation for blocking websites , or if all of them are.
