Google's Card approach to search has made its way to Inbox by Gmail.

Inbox, an app that aims to represent the future of email, is aiming to deliver answers to search by parsing various conversations and bring the data forward.

In a blog post, Google said Inbox search will be able to surface things like frequent flyer numbers at a glance so you won't have to dig through emails. The approach is similar to the design approach with Google Now as well as Android.

A top results feature will also order the most relevant email items by date.

Overall, the Inbox update is pretty handy. Rest assured that the card approach will make it to Gmail at some point.
