Google today announced Google Ventures, a division inside Google that seeks great companies to invest in. It's clear that if you are entrepeneurial, and are able to start a company that could make lots of money, Google may be the right venture capitalist for you.

Google is ready to provide "seed funding" to tens of millions of dollars -- depending on the opportunity presented to them. They won't be a silent partner in your operations either -- since they believe active involvement with their investments will help make them successful.
