Remote control app GoToMyPC went on sale a month ago for the iPad, and today it is no longer available in the iTunes App Store. The only word about the removal was spotted on the #GoToMyPC twitter stream, a brief mention that an update is coming and the app will be back soon. Most apps don't get removed from the store prior to an update getting released so this is unusual.

GoToMyPC is the iPad app for controlling remote systems using the tablet. It is similar to LogMeIn Ignition and other apps, but works with the GoToMyPC paid service. Here's hoping it comes back to the store soon.
