In case you're still searching for a gift for the royal wedding (as if you were even invited), here's an iPad case fit for any prince or princess.

SET-UP

It's an iPad case. There is no set-up. But what's special about the Capulet London iPad (1 and 2) cases are the materials used and the presentation upon arrival, and it doesn't get much more sophisticated than this.

As you can see to the right, the case arrives in a signature gift bag with a satin ribbon. Designed in London and crafted in Spain, the Capulet luxe cases are made from Italian leather with a delicate satin finish that will "age gracefully" with time. The protective case keeps closed with with a magnetic clip under the flap.

Now let's see how this beauty looks with the iPad 2 encased...

USE

The Capulet cases don't take up very much extra space, but the iPad does seem considerably bulkier when storing it in a purse, backpack or briefcase. However, it is nice to have some of the extra pocket space under the flap, and women could choose to hold this case as a clutch. (Although, it's probably not that wise to advertise you're walking around with a $500+ gadget. It's just like when people walk around with obvious laptop bags. Are you asking to be robbed? I digress...)

To get an idea of how big the Capulet-made case is, check out the comparison below next to Kate Spade's protective cover for the Nook Wi-Fi/3G.

Additionally, Capulet promises that these cases will still fit your iPad 2 with the Smart Cover attached. However, there are a few slimmer cases that won't fit the first-generation iPad, so be careful before you spend a whole lot of cash on these high-end accessories.

AVAILABILITY

Fine materials equal a hefty price tag, and the Capulet cases are no exception. If you pick one up in London, it retails for £240.00 including VAT. If you're stateside, one of these beautiful cases will cost you almost as much as a 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad at $316.08, not including taxes or shipping either.

There are a few different options available for various styles, namely the violet and teal options pictured here. Capulet also offers a more somber taupe exterior, and then those with more exuberant tastes can opt for the snakeskin pattern.

The most budget-friendly options are a pair of glove-like cases (not pictured) that are available in two shades of brown for £95.00 each in the United Kingdom or $125.12 in the United States.
