Hey Skype user- are you an Air Head?

Just read Stuart Henshall's thoughtful post on Skype Journal- a Skype blog not affiliated with Skype.Seems Stu's had his fill of folks that blog posts to the effect of, (quotes are mine) "hey, I made a Skype call from my plane at 35,000 feet and ain't I cool.

Just read Stuart Henshall's thoughtful post on Skype Journal- a Skype blog not affiliated with Skype.

Seems Stu's had his fill of folks that blog posts to the effect of, (quotes are mine) "hey, I made a Skype call from my plane at 35,000 feet and ain't I cool."

He calls that "passe." Dunno if that's the case, but there's a fair point to be made the act of Skype-ing from a plane equipped for say, Connexion by Boeing service is no longer bleeding edge.

But I will tell you what does sound cool. Stu relates an apparently true story he's just heard about Skypers "Skyping" plane-to-plane. "Now that's putting new meaning and use to (the term) aerial hotspots," he writes.

Stu does view an unintended consequence should this "Skype Air Heads" phenomenon catch on.

"Now, I'm just waiting for five planes to be connected in a heads in the clouds conference," he writes. "How long will it take?"
