How aerospace technology is being used in healthcare

If you abstract things far enough, you begin to realize that aerospace and healthcare are quite similar.

If you abstract things far enough, you begin to realize that aerospace and healthcare are quite similar. There are complex systems, external influences that behave in chaotic ways, detailed analytics, a need for visualization, very large data management requirements, and more.

That makes things quite interesting, especially as we look towards the future of healthcare and health technology. Since there's been such a positive response to my spotlighting interesting health-tech videos this month, I thought I'd share another with you.

This is what I'd call a "blue sky" or "painting the vistas" video. It just gives you a taste of what's happening and what's possible. It's also marketing hype on the part of Lockheed-Martin, but it's interesting marketing hype, and that's what counts.

Give this short video a watch, and I think you'll be a little more excited about the future of health technology, too.

Disclosure: I once worked for Martin-Marietta, which became the "Martin" part of Lockheed-Martin. It was a long time ago, in a New Jersey far, far away.
