How do you look naked?

If the public at large wore X-Ray Specs, do you think you’d take a bit more care in the way you looked beneath the artifice of clothing? Exactly.

So why oh why oh why do web designers insist on building a site that doesn’t work with images turned off. Come on, I’m on my mobile, I have images turned off to save bandwidth, do me a favour, make your site accessbile.

Case in point, I was looking for a route from St Pancras International to the West End of London, and I needed the postcode. No sign of a postcode on the station details page, because some numpty had put white text on a white background. Grr.

What does your site look like with no images
White text on a white background. Never a good nor accessible look.

Apologies because I have blogged about this before but it really is an elementary text book error and National Rail should change it to make it work better.
