HP, CCC Network tie up on enterprise solutions for Taiwan IDCs

CCC Network Systems and Hewlett-Packard Co yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to team up to offer enterprise solutions and services to Internet data centers in Taiwan.

SINGAPORE--CCC Network Systems and Hewlett-Packard Co yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to team up to offer enterprise solutions and services to Internet data centers in Taiwan.

The MOU calls for the joint promotion and bundling of CCC's FreeVision server with HP’s OpenView to offer network device management solutions to the Taiwanese data center market.

Commenting on the tie-up, regional director of CCC Network Systems (Asia Pacific) Richard Cooke said: "Taiwan will soon enjoy the full benefits of a deregulated telecom market where enterprises and individuals can enjoy significant increase in domestic and international bandwidth capacity at a reasonable cost.

“Enterprises need the best IT infrastructure and skill sets to differentiate themselves in the global market place. We believe the trend for enterprises to outsource their IT management to Internet data centers will continue."

CCC Network Systems is a provider of enterprise-class switching technology for managing servers and network devices in Internet and corporate data centers.
