While I was attending the Churchill Club event, Making a List: Fourth Annual What's Hot and What's Not in Personal Technology, I managed to snag Satjiv Chahil, senior vice president of marketing for HP's Personal Systems Group. I have know Satjiv since his days as a marketing whiz at Apple, Sony and Palm. Now he is selling TVs, which at first take seems like selling cars, but Satjiv is actually marketing the digital living room concept via HP's $2,000 MediaSmart TV (see the review), which allows users to wirelessly stream music, movies and photos to the 37-inch LCD TV. In our video interview, Satjiv explains how he hopes to bring next-generation TV and HP together (HPTV) ahead of the competition.
